Paid good money to watch a movie… and got this instead. What would you have done?

I can't even believe what I just saw at the AMC on Hurstbourne. This teenage girl was literally sitting in the middle of the theater with her BARE FEET propped up on the seat in front of her, while scrolling through TikTok on full brightness during the movie. And acting like she owned the place.

The woman in front of her kept turning around with this exhausted look, clearly feeling the girl's feet pushing against her seat back. Meanwhile, the phone screen was so bright it was like a flashlight in the dark theater - everyone in a three-row radius could see every swipe and scroll. This went on for at least 30 minutes. And get this - when someone finally leaned over and whispered "could you please put your phone away?", she rolled her eyes, put it away for literally two minutes, then pulled it right back out.

I'm so sick of people having zero consideration for others in public spaces. When did basic courtesy become optional? Can we agree that putting feet on the seat in front of you is unacceptable theater behavior, and talking or using phones tops the list of most hated disruptions. The whole experience was ruined for everyone around her - you pay $14+ for a ticket and can't even enjoy the movie you came to see.
