Author Matt Cooper is a firefighter and has a young son. He decided to write a book of letters to his son called In Case I Don't Come Home, Letters to My Son. It weaves stories, Stoic philosophy, Christian references, and modern psychology.

I have to say that while I was designing this book, I would stop and read parts. It made me weepy several times. I wish all men would have this point of view and raise their sons with his philosophy and teach their daughters how a man is supposed to treat them and to not settle for anything less.
