In comparison to recent years, we took 2025 slow and steady; releasing 6 new albums, and reissuing 1. Incredible work from Okonski, Sure Fire Soul Ensemble, M Ross Perkins, Leroi Conroy, Mae Powell, Kendra Morris, and Monophonics all entered into Colemine lore this year.
Our team in Loveland was more hands-on with these releases than ever before!
Okonski returned to Loveland to record 'Entrance Music' at Portage Lounge. Co-produced and mixed by Terry.
Mitch (Marketing for the label) flew out to San Diego to get photo & video content for Sure Fire's release of 'Gemini,' including the back cover photos and album announcement video. The front cover photo was taken by Autumn's (our label manager) dad, Tad Barney!
M Ross Perkins being in central Ohio allowed us to get photo and video for his whole campaign.
Leroi Conroy - well that one is self-explanatory.
Mae Powell's record was entirely done by her and her team in California, but we were fortunate enough to fly her out to Loveland during the summer to get some extra content in the studio and around Loveland.
Kendra's album, Next, may have been the most hands-on project from start to finish we've ever done. It was co-produced by Kendra & Terry, and recorded at Portage Lounge. Tons of video and photo work done in Loveland, as well as album design being a team effort between Autumn here, Kendra, and her husband, Rob (who handled all of the great illustration work).
