My sister, Danell, has been missing for over three years now, and our family's life has changed completely. We are all struggling to find closure, but it seems like it may never happen. I can't help but wonder what happened to her every day. It's seems impossible that someone could just disappear without a trace. I believe that someone knows what happened and is not coming forward. Danell and I were very close growing up, and we shared many of the same interests. We lived together or near each other for 30 years, and our kids are close in age. She helped me raise my first son, and I never got to thank her for all she did. We drifted apart for a few years but started talking again 10 months before she disappeared. I remember the day she moved back; it was her favorite holiday, the 4th of July. She decided to go camping with us at Boysen Reservoir and moved back to Cody. There are so many things I wish I could have told her. I looked up to her my whole life, and now she's just gone. My sister had three kids who are left wondering what happened to their mother. Her grandkids never really got to know her. My parents are devastated and have no idea what happened to their oldest daughter. We all miss her and love her more than she will ever know. If anyone knows what happened to Danell in July 2021, please let someone know. I want to thank the people who are helping us and have helped us in the past, especially Bill Doshe (Find 911).
