Most interview prep starts in the wrong place. People brainstorm a list of generic questions — then hope for magic in the edit.
But real storytelling starts with intention.
Before I step on set, I work backwards from the story we’re trying to tell. I outline the emotional arc, the key message, and the turning points — then I design interview questions to draw out those moments organically.
That’s how you avoid surface-level answers and create interviews that feel alive, authentic, and aligned with your message.
