Trailer is cleaned & ready! A 2 week roadtrip, 4,000 miles, 7 National Parks, some off-roading in the new Raptor, and TONS of dog fur will be encountered! 😂 The boys (pups) are as ready to go as we are! Tons of photos, and we are going to record this trip for video! Might make a few videos out of this trip! So if you like our videos, check back in a month or so.

I missed National Photography Day. Of the many photos I’ve taken, these remain the deepest & most cherished. Why? Kate & I were on our 3rd date snow-wheeling. We found these two trees hanging on with all they had in the middle of a creek. Due to extreme erosion & weathering bad storms, only their roots and a small piece of ground remained in the middle of a creekbed. They survived together. It reminded us both of the storms we overcome and even in 3 dates, we already knew we were together forever and would do the same together. Embrace each other and weather the storms. Sadly these two trees were washed away last year during torrential flooding. But Kate & I will always remember them and what they represented to us both.

The news of the wildfires in Colorado and at the Grand Canyon is heartbreaking for us. Looking back thru photos, we failed to capture much if any photos of the Kaibab National Forest as it was not our primary focus at the time. Wish we had. 😔

We pray for everyone’s safety and for the firefighters combating the fires in both Arizona and Colorado.
