Happy Juneteenth Part Two!
We were shadowbanned from posting since Friday & we’re back to say today we reflect how Black people were forced to swallow their dreams till they became bitter from absent fruition. Today, there are fire works from those who continue to hold torches in failed attempts to burn us because Black cannot be put out.

🎯 Peace is allowed to permeate both physical and internal space when an individual’s immediate security needs are met AND when they’re able to envision and participate in a future of their own making without fear or knowledge of external hands grabbing last crumbs of hope. We honour past Black American fights to unify us again into a whole who honour a code of conduct, respect, love, & understanding to our shared humanity. Today, tomorrow, NOW: TAKE UP SPACE! Uplift & recognise the Black efforts that have granted you the peace you’re enjoying right now.

💐 The most difficult part of being a young business + business owner comes after establishing yourself: It’s being consistent with your confidence to execute your plans. Creating & sharing to have it be lovingly received by so many people is just as much validating as it is threatening.

💐 The consistent purchases of and support from you all are the validation. You have been steady— Showing up for us and you when we weren’t. From our deepest roots we say thank you.

💐In our absence, I’ve found myself allowing the nervousness of showing up to show up in place of the work created! No longer can silence speak for Ivy Prints because there is so much we have to share and there is so much toiling that needs to be done to support this community the way it needs to be.
