Last month, Dirk spent a week in Toronto, recording the Toronto Symphony Orchestra's performance of Prokofiev’s Romeo and Juliet and Symphony No. 3.

Led by conductor Gustavo Gimeno, the sessions were powerful, showcasing the orchestra’s versatility across Prokofiev’s sweeping works.

What an incredible week with the Bach Collegium San Diego! Blanton and Mark spent the week in California, recording El Mesías (Handel’s Messiah in Spanish) with the ensemble. This ambitious project has been a beautiful challenge, breathing new life and perspective into a masterpiece.

We can’t wait to share this unique and inspiring interpretation of Messiah with you soon.

Airports sometimes get a bad rap but huge thank you to this kind gentleman at Boston Logan International Airport who jumped in to help Mark get his two carts of gear out to the curb this morning!

Throwback to the first time our chief engineer, Mark, brought his son Noel to our Jamaica Plain studio—and to all the visits since then.

It’s hard to believe that the little kid running around back then will turn 16 next week, and that he even interned with us at the new building in Lowell last summer! (And that he's now as tall as his dad.) Time flies.

Last week, Blanton and Mark had the incredible privilege of recording the Detroit Symphony Orchestra's performance of Carmina Burana, Carl Orff’s enormous work for orchestra, soloists, and choir.

Led by Music Director Jader Bignamini, the performances featured the Detroit Opera Youth Chorus and Audivi, as well as the Detroit Opera - Detroit Opera House Chorus Master Emeritus, Suzanne Mallare Acton.

Witnessing all these musicians, young and seasoned, come together for such a powerful work was truly inspiring. We can't wait to share this one with the world.

Back in March, we had the pleasure of welcoming our very first clients to the new building: conductor and artistic director Joel Rinsema and soprano and collaborative pianist Alicia Rigsby of the Denver chorale group Kantorei.

They joined Blanton and Mark to put the finishing touches on their new album, Song Offerings, by composer Christopher Tin.

We’re excited to share that the record is out now on Decca Records!

Give it a listen: https://christophertin.lnk.to/SongOfferings

Huge congratulations to Kantorei on this beautiful release—we loved being part of the journey!
