As part of the The Town & The City Festival this weekend, Poorhouse Records is hosting a set of some all-stars at The Worthen right near the town hall (like we have to tell you where the Worthen is…)
It’s a whole weekend of great music and we are thrilled to be a part of it and take you on a Time Machine back to the mid-90’s!

Great news!
Poorhouse Records Vol. 1 & 2 is now available for streaming.

Besides recent requests to make The Poorhouse Sessions available online, sparking renewed interest before the Poorhouse set at The Town & City Festival in Lowell this year is a nice bonus.

You can find Poorhouse Records on Bandcamp FOR FREE or a pay-what-you-like opportunity. Or if you want to support any individual act on these compilations, you can purchase individual tracks where the money will go directly to the featured artist.
Either way, we’re just happy that everyone can listen to these great tracks anytime they want and finally share them with anyone who didn’t get a hard copy back in the great year of 1994.
So step into a time machine to a simpler time when all these great singer/songwriters were just starting out.

20 years ago, The Poorhouse Sessions Vol.1 was released in Lowell.
20 years ago, The Sugar Shack opened its doors in Lowell.
