🚨 Court docs say a suspect allegedly traveled to Lubbock with one goal: to kill a child molester.

Joseph Barrera, 25, was accused of fleeing on a scooter after the shooting back in July. The victim, 61-year-old Richard Paul, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities believe Barrera tried to paint and sell the scooter after the murder. He was arrested in Spur, Texas on Thursday.

🚨LUBBOCK MOTEL MURDER 🚨 A 60-year-old man is dead. Three people are charged with murder. This all happened at a motel in Lubbock.

New court documents say Arnold Tumlinson was already unresponsive after he was struck by Trahod Willis. Court records say Shanquetia Lingard was accused of curb stomping the victim before David Thomas hit him with a metal pole.

Investigators noted that witnesses reported seeing suspects go through the victim's pockets following the assault. All 3 suspects were charged with murder and each held on a $500,000 bond at the Lubbock jail.

Three news outlets. One contract. I requested the Galaxy Stadium naming rights contract through the Texas Public Information Act on behalf of KLBK News - EverythingLubbock.com. Reporters from the Lubbock Avalanche-Journal and The Daily Toreador separately requested the same records. Now, Texas Tech is asking the Texas Attorney General to decide if portions of the agreement can be withheld from public disclosure.

🚨 TWO men were arrested in Lubbock on separate charges of Online Solicitation of a Minor in just 24 hours.

Zachary Allen Craft, 37, was arrested Monday by the Texas Department of Public Safety. Court docs say Craft was trying to meet up with a 16-year-old girl, who actually turned out to be an undercover agent.

Roberto Quezada, 34, was arrested Tuesday by the Lubbock County Sheriff’s Office. An arrest affidavit said the reporting party was a man pretending to be a 13-year-old girl. Court docs say back in April, Quezada sent n**e images to who he thought was a teenager.

Craft is at the Lubbock jail on a $100,000 bond. Quezada has a $300,000 bond.

Two separate cases, but one disturbing trend.
