Another short film going on in LBK!
CASTING CALL!!!
Hello, and good day! We are announcing the casting call for our upcoming short, From Good Stock! A heavier comedy between a dad and his three kids!
This will be one of our fastest turn arounds on a project, hopefully being casted in less than a week and filming later this month. Giving us roughly 16 days to get everything ready! We are looking for strong actors who memorize quickly! This project is non-paid.
Auditions are due on Tuesday, June 16th at 7pm!!!

The characters we are needing filled are-
CASSIE- The middle child and the only girl. She’s the easiest to talk to, but she tries to fix everyone’s problems. Not because she’s better than everyone, she just wants to help. She is in her late 20’s to early thirties, brunette (Hair can be colored, as long as the natural hair color is brunette) and isn’t very tall. She is a mom of 2 kids, but we don’t see them on screen. Looking for natural performance.
DYLAN- Oldest of three siblings. Hardworking, blue collar man who doesn’t get too involved with his family anymore. He still loves them, it’s just easier to do his own thing. He’s around 5’10”, and in his early thirties, dark hair with a beard and a stocky build. Doesn’t have to be too big, though. He’s pretty reserved. He and Cassie are a couple years apart. Wanting natural performance that isn’t one note.
ROBERT-The patriarch of the family. He is a kind man, who easily opens up around his children and has great relationships with each of them, but has a dark secret. He’s around the same height and build as Dylan, but with a warmer smile. He is clean cut, but maybe has a little bit of stubble. He is between 55 to 60 years old.
WORKER 1- An employee of a construction company. Age, height, weight and ethnicity doesn’t matter.
