Is anybody else just plain worn out by election season? The ads, the arguments, the accusations, and the nonstop political noise are exhausting. I'm not telling you who to vote for. I'm just asking you to VOTE. Make your voice heard, then maybe, just maybe, we can all enjoy five minutes of peace before the next campaign starts. Is that really too much to ask?

I love to visit other places when I can, and one of the first things I tend to notice when I visit other places is that their streets don't look like Lubbock. In Lubbock, we have massive stretches of perfectly straight "stroads" with uninterrupted asphalt and plenty of places for folks to make questionable turns. Is this something Lubbock should fix?
