Cleaning jobs in the bus are never ending. I hear that is the case when you move in as well. A tiny space in constant need of reorganization, or items to simply be put back in their place.

I take the tactic of cleaning as we go. I started this tactic in our home, mostly during meal prep. It saves me time and energy... and well, my sanity also. Lol

How do you keep your bus clean and organized? Any tips or tricks you found helpful once you moved in? 💡

Guess who finished all those little jobs?
We did!

Guess what’s getting spray foamed....TOMORROW?!?!
This bus, that’s what!

We expected to get a quote this week and wait a couple weeks for the scheduled appointment, BUT God is gracious and the spray foam is actually being done tomorrow. Like, what?!

This is the first time we over estimated the time frame to get a certain job done. Haha. We are both still a little in shock this is happening. I’m sure it won’t really set in until the crew shows up tomorrow morning.

What a milestone we are heading for. 🎉

There’s a ton of small jobs that have to get done prior to spray foam. If you know, you know!

We are on a timeline to spray foam though. We have a local company coming to give us a quote sometime next week and then we will go ahead and schedule the job. So, we are trying to get as much done as we can each day. Tying up those loose ends.

Contained in this post: AC and propane lines ran... exterior power outlet install... shore power install.

Next up: complete marker lights, run exterior solar panel wiring, exterior flood light wiring, and then we can start preparing the inside of the bus for the spray foam job!

Woohoo... Moving along. Moving along.

Rear bumper is finally...finally done! The building of it anyway. It was a long process to get here, but we are thankful to be on to the next step of the process. We are also thankful for those that helped us with this project along the way! .did.it and Jeremiah’s dad Keith!

I think it turned out fantastic, but maybe I’m partial. 🤪🤷🏼‍♀️ In all honesty, I am continually amazed at the quality of work Jeremiah has accomplished on this bus. YouTube University has helped us tie all his skill together and each finished product comes out better than I could have expected. 👏🏼

Thanks for following along on this journey with us. A journey it has been; a long one at that. 🚌💨

Anyone else think pressure washing is soooo satisfying?! No, just me? 🧼🚿😆

We are back working on the bus, full steam ahead! 🚂

Jeremiah has made a lot of progress, and we are excited to share the journey with you all once again. Hint hint: spray foam is near in our future. 😃

We have a ton of video footage to edit as well. We will attempt to get some of that out for you guys on our YouTube channel as soon as we can. We had a lot of set backs since having our son...medical issues and what not. We are grateful for those of you who have stuck around thus far.

Some time has passed since this work was done, but it’s good information anyways. In this video we show completion of the solar panel racks and roof deck, as well as it’s install.

Holding baby up is not as easy as makes it look lol 😉

It’s been one month with this cutie pie. We are tired but feeling thankful for this little miracle to be in our lives.

Wires on wires on wires. 🪢

Shown on the first photo is the ending of the hardest run we believe we will have. There were so many wires that needed to be ran in this one conduit, plus it was a long run all the way from the back of the bus... but Jeremiah did it with some help from our neighbor Jim. Thank you Jim!!

I am just so impressed with the skills Jeremiah has, as well as the knowledge he continues to gain throughout this process. It’s really amazing to me. With most things of this nature, I am pretty lost. 😅

This process can be really tough on a person. It’s not only physically demanding, but it also takes a lot out of one mentally. Jeremiah takes the brunt of that difficulty.

I am so very grateful for your hard work and consistency to make this bus our future tiny home on wheels. I am glad to be witnessing this project unfolding. It’s going to be worth it my love. Let’s keep pushing towards the goal. 😘

We officially have a mapped out floor plan! 🗺👏🏼

This past week I was able to draw to scale our floor plan, and with extensive detail. We are using the . It is really awesome if you are looking for something to help you in this way. (Not sponsored, just really found it helpful)

We have most of the appliances purchased and know the specs for ones we haven’t acquired yet. This helps to get the measurements are as close as possible to the real deal. There have been a lot of big decisions made in the past week. 😸

We also planned out receptacles and Jeremiah has drawn out our wiring diagram fully. Which is really the reasoning behind laying out a floor plan with tape in the first place. However, it is really helpful to visualize everything and do a walk through as you discuss next steps.

Things are coming together. It’s so neat to see our vision mapped out and get a real feel for how things will function. We are so excited! WooHoo!
