Shout out to my curls that are overwhelmed with ever changing information, evolving sciences, 50 bagillion influencers, 100 bagillion products and all around craziness. Iykyk, turns out according to Albert Einstein naturally curly hair is in fact insane 😘. Embracing the wild and unpredictable nature of my curls has been a hell of a journey. 🌀✨

Did you know that straight hair is actually the rarity when it comes to hair texture? The majority of people have some sort of slight wave, curl, or coil in their hair, and everything in between. It's a common misconception that straight hair is the norm, when in fact, it's the exception. Unless you got caught up in some nasty mud or some crazy workout or you just don’t wash your hair for weeks?🤢 there is no reason you need to double shampoo!!! I said what I said! You can do a monthly scalp detox, pre wash but under no damn circumstances should you be double cleansing 🤷🏼‍♀️ it will dry out your scalp periodt!

When it comes to hair care, less is often more. Over-cleansing your scalp can strip it of its natural oils, leading to dryness and potential damage. Instead, opt for a gentle cleansing routine and consider incorporating a monthly scalp detox and or clarifier to remove any build-up.

Remember that healthy hair starts with a healthy scalp, so treat it with care and avoid over-washing. And always follow up with a nourishing conditioner ( keep it off the scalp) to keep your locks looking their best.

Ladies and gents, I know y’all have been chomping at the bit wondering what I’ve been doing with my life, well I can now reveal project #1.
