BEAT LEASE AGREEMENT
This License Agreement is made between Hew Hephner (“Licensor”) and _________________ (“Licensee”) on ___________.
1. GRANT OF LICENSE
Licensor grants Licensee a non-exclusive license to use the instrumental “________________________” (“Beat”) for: one (1) new song, UNLIMITED streams, unlimited music videos, unlimited performances, commercial radio, and indie sync under 100k budget.
2. AI DISCLOSURE & OWNERSHIP
Licensee acknowledges the Beat was created using AI-assisted composition tools. Licensor warrants they hold commercial usage rights for the Beat. Due to U.S. Copyright Office guidance, portions generated solely by AI may not be copyrightable. Human authorship added by Licensor including arrangement, pitch manipulation, chopping, effects, and audio processing is owned by Licensor.
3. RESTRICTIONS
Licensee may NOT: resell/lease the Beat, claim authorship, use in 2+ songs, sample the Beat, or register with Content ID systems.
4. CREDIT
Credit “Prod. by Hew Hephner” required in all releases.
5. TERM: Valid for ten (10) years from purchase date.
6. ROYALTIES
Licensor receives 50% publishing, 0% master. Licensee must register with PRO listing Licensor as 50% writer.
7. BREACH: Breach fee: $2,000 USD.
