Starting in September, the Lynchburg City School Board will have its monthly work sessions on the first Tuesday of each month and regular meetings on the third Tuesday.

The board also approved Somerville-Midgette’s RFP, or Request for Proposal, for the division’s new strategic plan. This will allow the division to secure a contractor through an open bidding process to begin strategic planning.
