No Joke, today marks my very first day, 4-1-1980, working in the music business at Far West Entertainment. Thirteen years later, I started my own company. It's hard to believe that 46 years have flown by rather quickly. So many acquaintances, friends, and people who have become family! I grew up (and grew old-er) with all of you. Thank you for your trust and loyalty and for making my job FUN! I appreciate you all!

 Last night, Oncore played at a super fun 80s party for Olympic Sports and Spine in Tacoma. What a unique and creative party they had. A good time was had by all!!!

It’s been a true pleasure!

Let’s get this out of the way right at the top, I am NOT retiring. I am NOT quitting the business, but I AM saying goodbye to an era of my Life that I cherished.

I was given the opportunity of programming and booking both The Bite of Seattle (for 39 years until the pandemic when they closed down music) and separately, The Taste of Tacoma, including it’s transformation to Taste NW, for 42 years! That opportunity recently came to a close for me as The Fair is taking their booking and scheduling in house now for Taste NW 2026, which is completely understandable.

It’s a bitter-sweet transition as I’ve put my heart and soul into introducing people to new and exciting bands for so many years, as well as booking some of the top performers in the region, and I will absolutely miss that, but it’s time to pass the torch and trust that this transition will be a positive one for me and for my business. I will, of course, keep booking, but there will be a big piece of my heart that’s missing for me as we move forward into 2026.

I want to personally thank EVERY band who has played for me, EVERY person who worked for me, EVERY person who attended and enjoyed what I booked, and most importantly EVERY musician who supported me through the years. Without you, there was no ME. I wish I could have thanked you all in person, but please consider this my Love Letter to Festivals and all the friendships I’ve been grateful for throughout the many years. We grew up and grew old(er) together.

If you are reading this, here’s to an incredible 2026 full of Joy, Happiness and Good Health. I hope to see you all another time. Cheers!
