🚨 Woman leaves her teenage son to live in squalor with the family pets alone for around 2 weeks to party in Vegas, the teenage boy did the best he could to take care of all the animals but it became overwhelming.

Florida Woman Arrested After Leaving Teenager Home Alone in Horrendous Conditions

Jessica Copeland, 37, of Palatka, Florida, has been arrested and faces multiple charges—including child neglect and both felony and misdemeanor animal neglect—after deputies discovered that she left her teenage child and seven dogs alone for nearly two weeks in extremely unsanitary conditions while she vacationed and partied in Las Vegas .

At the time of her arrest she told investigators " she didn't think it was a big deal"

According to the Putnam County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a welfare check on the teen, who initially said everything was fine.

However, after video evidence of animal abuse was presented, deputies returned and found unacceptable living conditions: floors layered with animal f***s, garbage everywhere, and emaciated dogs lacking proper food or water.

Some dogs were locked in a bedroom with four inches of f***s on the floor; one was found caged and severely malnourished .

Officials say Copeland departed on July 21, leaving the teen to get occasional food deliveries and check-ins from others .

Upon her return, she was arrested and is being held in the Putnam County Jail on a $36,000 bond .

🚨 Washington Township Man Faces Federal Child P**n Charges

DETROIT- 71-year-old Thomas Durham, a former church choir leader of Great Lakes Christian Church in Warren, from Washington Township, Michigan, has been hit with federal charges for possessing and receiving child po*******hy. The disturbing case involves a teenage girl, and was uncovered after local police handed the investigation over to the FBI.

Durham appeared in federal court on Tuesday, August 6, 2025. More court dates are expected to follow as the case moves forward.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (FOX 2) – A 51-year-old man has been formally charged after his elderly father was found dead in their home late last year.

Michael Stirling was arraigned Wednesday on charges of involuntary manslaughter and vulnerable adult abuse following the death of 77-year-old James Stirling, whom he was supposed to be caring for.

In November 2024, police were called after Stirling was seen disoriented outside his home. Upon entering, officers discovered James Stirling deceased in bed.

Investigators say the cause of death was dehydration and ruled it a homicide.

Michael Stirling now faces up to 15 years in prison. He also received a habitual offender notice.

Good morning and happy Thursday y'all!! Today's weather is going to be cloudy along with sunshine, with a high of 81° and a low of 69°. There is a 20% chance around 5:00 p.m. there could be a little bit of rain.🌧

The humidity is that 84% and the air quality is moderate meaning it can cause issues for those of us with asthma and or bronchial problems. It is a little better than it has been in recent days but it still is not and it's best.

DETROIT- Jabari Kadar Long, 45, was indicted for submitting fake loan applications to the Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) and Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL) during the height of the COVID-19 pandemic.

He is charged with:

Conspiracy to commit wire fraud

Wire fraud affecting a financial institution

Money laundering

Federal prosecutors say Long illegally obtained funds that were supposed to support struggling businesses and used the money for personal gain.

The indictment was unsealed Tuesday, August 5.
