KIDS MOCK A POOR CLASSMATE FOR HIS CARDBOARD HALLOWEEN COSTUME — UNTIL A DEEP MALE VOICE INTERRUPTS THEM 😳
"Look at Levi, he's wearing a piece of colored cardboard!" one boy yelled, laughing so hard he nearly doubled over. "He couldn’t even afford a real costume!"
"Don’t say that, Tony!" Levi’s voice trembled, his eyes shining with tears. "My dad made this for me! He stayed up all night — he worked really hard!"
The laughter only grew louder. Another kid snickered, “Well, that ‘costume’ makes you look like a total loser! Guess your dad’s one too!”
The room erupted with cruel laughter, each word slicing deeper. Levi stood frozen, tears falling freely, clutching his cardboard costume — the one his father had made with love and pride. He wished he could vanish.

An unsettling silence hung in the forest, broken only by the muffled groans of an elderly man. A few strong men with rough faces and arrogant smirks surrounded him. His gray hair was unsheveled, and his face was covered in mud — the bandits had thrown him to the ground and now, kicking him with their boots, demanded money.
— Well, grandpa, where's your stash? — growled one, with a scar across his cheek. — We know you've got some!
The old man helplessly covered his head with his hands, but the blows continued. They enjoyed his weakness as if it were entertainment.
But suddenly, a sharp female voice rang out:
— Enough!
All heads turned simultaneously toward the voice. From the mist appeared a woman in military uniform. She was about thirty-five years old. Tall, imposing, with a determined gaze and confident stride.
For a moment, the bandits were taken aback, but then predatory smiles spread across their faces. They looked at the woman with lust.
— Wow, what a beauty, — one sneered, eyeing her greedily. — And what's a girl like that doing alone in the forest?
— Look at her legs… — croaked another, breathing heavily. — And the smell… mmm… delicious.
— If you're alone here, it means there's no guy around to protect you. — added a third. — We can take care of you better than anyone.
— You must be cold; do you want us to warm you up? We're great at helping lonely, beautiful girls.
They exchanged disgusting comments, laughing and glancing at each other, as if they had an unexpected prey before them. But the woman didn't react. She calmly crouched beside the old man, checking his breathing and pulse.
— Are you deaf? — one of the bandits grabbed her arm.
The woman lifted her eyes. There was neither fear nor panic in her gaze.
“Take your filthy hands off,” she said firmly.
— Oh really? — the leader laughed. — And you still dare? Guys, it's time to teach this brainless beauty some manners!

The little child could not believe until the end that the father was no longer alive, and did not leave his coffin. When the truth came out, everyone remained stunned. The little eight-year-old girl stood next to her father’s coffin as if she did not notice those around her. She placed her hands on the edge of the coffin and stared intently inside. The mother tried several times to take her away, but the girl stubbornly remained in place. She did not cry or speak — she just silently observed. Guests came, bent down to offer condolences, and left, but the child did not move from her spot. The only thing she asked for was a small chair to be closer to her father. In the evening, the adults began to worry: the girl did not eat, did not speak, she just sat and watched, as if waiting for something important. No one noticed when she climbed onto the chair, carefully climbed into the coffin, and lay down next to her father. She wrapped her arm around him and pressed close, as if sensing something. The grandmother, seeing this, screamed, and the adults ran to the coffin. At first, they thought the girl had fainted, but then they understood the truth: the child wanted to be with her father in his final moments, as if farewell could not be expressed in words but through touch.
