Students, faculty, and community members from Mercer’s Robert McDuffie Center for Strings, Mercer Singers, and Choral Society of Middle Georgia took the stage at Carnegie Hall, turning one of the world’s most iconic venues into a celebration of homegrown talent, mentorship, and musical heritage.

With a world premiere by renowned composer Mack Wilberg and a stage shared between rising stars and seasoned pros, this performance was more than a concert; it was a passing of the torch, a community effort, and a bold statement about what’s possible when excellence meets opportunity.
