We celebrate the feast of St. Martin of Tours today, whose intercession we ask for in the lives of all veterans and their loved ones as we pray for peace, protection, and healing. ❤️‍🩹

Lord God, Almighty Father,
creator of mankind and author of peace,
as we are ever mindful of the cost paid for the liberty we possess,

13 years of imprisonment, including 9 in solitary confinement, and a decision to love rather than grow bitter—this is the legacy of Venerable Cardinal Francis Xavier Nguyễn Văn Thuận, who is currently on the road to sainthood. Elisabeth Nguyễn is his youngest and last living sibling. Retired educator and author, Elisabeth has devoted her life to preserving her brother’s legacy of faith, hope, and forgiveness.

It's a momentous week for educators—Pope Leo ended the Jubilee of World Education today declaring St. John Henry Newman a Doctor of the Church. This comes on the heels of declaring Newman co-patron of the mission of Catholic education just a few days prior in his new Apostolic letter, "Drawing New Maps of Hope."

We are deeply grateful to everyone who contributed. This event was made possible by your unwavering faith, generosity, and steadfast support. As we close this feast day seeking the intercession of our patron, we can’t help but imagine not one, but two saints rejoicing hand-in-hand in heaven for the love that covered this initiative.

Today, we joyfully celebrate the feast of our patron St. John Paul II, a saint whose life continues to inspire millions with his courage, faith, and radiant joy. Known for his deep devotion to Christ, his love of young people, the arts, and his adventurous spirit, John Paul II showed us that holiness can be lived fully—in prayer, in community, and even in the great outdoors.

As St. John Paul II reminded us, life with Christ is “a wonderful adventure.” May his feast day inspire us to live our faith boldly, with joy, and with a renewed love for the beauty of God’s creation.

Our team prayed the Luminous Mysteries for all of your intentions this morning, asking for St. John Paul II’s intercession.
