I prayed about doing this for sometime and it is with hesitation that I put these needs out here on this format.
We at Faith Life Family Church have a need and a project that we could use both prayer and financial help with.
1. We are in need of a lawn mower to maintain our property. It is 6 acres so a smaller mower doesn’t really take care of that need. The mower we had was 16 years and needed around $2,000 to get it in a condition to use this year. Last year it cost over $900 to keep going. That said it would be cheaper in the long run to get a new unit. We are believing for $4,500.00 to get the mower pictured.
2. Marci has a great opportunity to go on a mission trip. It would be her first such trip. The trip is in conjunction with a connection we have with a church from Hondo, TX and it is a week long trip into Mexico.
She would be traveling, in June, to San Antonio to meet up with the others then flying from there to Mexico City, boarding a bus and then driving 8 hours out to those in need. She will be part of a team ministering to the needs of the people of that area. After the team returns to Mexico City, the full team will be ministering at the host church at the end of the trip.
Marci is one of the most generous people I have ever met. She selflessly gives of herself to whatever is needed. I am believing for this time for her to get a chance to minister in a way she has never experienced. I also believe this time will impact her in ways she cannot yet imagine. That said there is a need of $2,500.00 for her to be able to go. It includes, travel, lodging, food, etc…
