On this day in 1975, Oklahoma’s answer to Woodstock, “48 Hours in Atoka,” took place with tickets selling for only $10. Performers included Willie Nelson, Waylon Jennings, Jerry Lee Lewis and more. Music historians consider the festival to be the beginning of the outlaw country movement.
