Robert Baldwin, known to many as Ramirez / Kyouryu Cyan in Kyoryuger and Gordo in Sazer-X, has sadly passed away at the age of 59 on December 26th, 2024 after a 2-year battle against colon cancer.
His funeral took place on December 30th with only close relatives in attendance, at the request of his family.

Robert was a Canadian-Japanese actor who was born in Kyoto on September 27th, 1965 and raised in Hiroshima by his Canadian parents.
At the age of 14, he moved to Canada and finished high-school, followed by travelling back-and-forth between the two countries. He then returned to Japan when he was 30.

Robert appeared in a wide variety of Japanese movies, TV shows, advertisements, and music videos, as well as working as a translator, narrator, and copywriter.

Our thoughts are with Robert's family, friends and many fans around the world.
Rest in peace, Robert.
