I hope 2026 is your best year ever!

I hope you find yourself, find patience, understanding, acceptance and kindness.

I hope you share your love and light.

I hope you are willing to stand up for someone that needs you to help and that they are willing to stand for you.

I hope you can tolerate the sadness, pain and darkness that may come to you, but then too will pass and you will grow from.

I hope love finds a way to touch you, so you see something with new eyes and gain new insight.

I hope you learn something new and I hope you do not get the FLU! 😳🥰

Seriously, I appreciate all of your love and prayers- I am feeling so much better today. I will be able to go back to work tomorrow! My first work day of 2026 and I am ready for it! Those of us at the VA still don't know with complete transparency what will become of our jobs or how restructuring will effect us all, but we have ridden this wave for almost an entire year now- we are ready to just keep moving forward. Doing our jobs, providing the best care to Veterans- who deserve the very best. Happy 2026! ❤️

You guys are not going to believe me- the flu turned me into a carrot!!!!!

Hahaha- not really, it's only a filter. I am out of my bed! Sitting in the livingroom with the puppies! My body hurts from laying in bed- I'm gonna try to transition to the couch. My fever is gone and I am feeling so much better so far this morning. Your happy healthy thoughts have helped!!! BTW Jeff said he is all better- I'll let him pretend! lol ❤️

I spent another day right here in my bed. Jeff worked since he could do it from home. Employee Health office at work told me to take a Covid/flu test tomorrow and based on that I will go back to work Wednesday or next week- depending on how I am feeling, of course. These bugs are no joke! Stay healthy my lovely friends!! ❤️

Jeff and I have been in bed all day- taking mucinex and ibuprofen for our headache and fevers. I just ate something and it helped me feel a little better. Jeff said he will have something in a little bit. The flu is dumb! ❤️ Thank you for all the prayers, well wishes and healing vibes. I think we are both gonna be in bed another day.
