Saturday night was a blast at The Annex, celebrating the musical retirement of a friend to so many and a great drummer in 2 local bands, Zach Walton!
Since When, a last minute addition opened the night in strong fashion. My first time seeing them and definitely not my last.
Good friends to us here at OTRR, Where Is The Key , brought the heat next and we got to hear so.e new tunes. Yep, you can hear them here!
Those great guys in Un-Broken hit the stage next, with their always high energy show. These guys just never stop, even when their trailer throws a leaf spring!
The band that Zach's been in for 2 and a half years ripped it up next, Morningstar. I really love watching their showmanship and seeing just how much they really love to put on a show.
Then our headliner for the night and round 2 for Zach wrapped up the night in epic fashion, Seilies! Zach's primary band for 10+ years. Man, it's always a treat to see these guys play. They're consistently good, even if they might have a tech issue here and there.
I've seen Zach at so many shows over the last few years and he's one hell of a drummer, and stellar human being. While we'll miss seeing him behind the drums, we'll have a blast with him in his new job as a fan. All the best Zach, no more ketchup packets, we promise.
