Hi everyone! I wanted to share something that really has me excited about the future of our area.
A recent forecast suggests that the next 10 years could make today's home prices in Huntsville look like a bargain. Here's why:
Space Command headquarters is bringing 1,700 positions, the FBI expansion could add over 2,000 jobs, and companies like Mazda-Toyota and Redstone Arsenal continue to grow. That's a lot of people who will need places to live.
On top of that, Millennials and Gen Z are entering their prime home-buying years. We're talking about potentially 55 million home purchases over the next 15 years nationally, and Huntsville's affordability makes us very attractive.
The national housing shortage means demand will keep outpacing supply. When you combine that with our local job growth, quality of life, and the $84 trillion wealth transfer from Baby Boomers, it creates a really strong foundation for continued growth.
