The Grand Theatre replaced the two digital projectors in 2024. This was financed with a $50,000 loan from the City Of Madison. We got an exceptionally good deal on two brand new projectors. The loan must be paid off in 5 years with private donations. A project fund has been set up through the Madison Community Foundation so all donations are tax deductible. Now would be a great time to make an investment in the Grand before the end of the year!

Checks may be made payable to the Madison Community Foundation with Grand Theatre on the memo line. Send to Grand Theatre, Box 70, Madison, MN, 56256.

The Oktoberfast car show in Madison on Saturday afternoon was a resounding success, featuring 50 stunning vehicles that captivated attendees of all ages. Craig Schellberg took home the People’s Choice trophy with his meticulously restored 1912 IHC autowagon high wheeler, while Doug Abel from Montevideo impressed with his sleek 1962 Ford T-Bird and won the Chamber’s Choice trophy. John Harker of Dawson won the Kid’s Choice trophy with his 1946 Studebaker truck. Madison Jr. Ambassador Maren Nolte deserves special recognition for her exceptional assistance at the event.
