That’s a wrap on the 2026 Madison Regatta. 🏁
What a week it was.
While Mother Nature and the river threw us more than a few curveballs, our volunteers, officials, racers, sponsors, first responders, city employees, and fans adapted every step of the way. Because of your patience, dedication, and support, we were able to finish the weekend.
Congratulations to Jimmy Shane and the Apollo team on capturing the 2026 APBA Gold Cup! 🏆
To everyone who volunteered, attended, raced, sponsored, or supported this event in any way—thank you. The Morgan Foods Madison Regatta presented by Nucor wouldn’t be possible without this incredible community.
We’ll take what we learned, build on it, and start preparing for an even better 2027.

A tough break today in Madison. 🇺🇸
We had a perfect start and were leading the race when, on lap two, I believe we struck something in the water. The impact was huge—the boat launched into the air before coming back down on the nose.
The most important thing is I’m okay, and the entire team is okay.
The boat suffered significant damage.
A huge thank you to our amazing crew and to everyone who’s reached out with messages of support. We’ll repair it, regroup, and come back stronger! 💪🏁

Congratulations to Jimmy Shane, driver of the U-27 Miss Apollo BWR Racing, and Crew Chief Taylor Evans on an outstanding victory at the APBA Gold Cup in Madison! What a way to open the H1 Unlimited season.
