We're excited to be back for the Fall 48!

It all starts with a story.

Before editing, composing and compositing, before the lights are set up or even unloaded, before casting or even storyboarding have begun, it all starts with a writer writing.

The nominees for Best Writing took us into the worlds of what is, what could be,what might be becoming, and what none of us hope will be.

"The Man in the Box" shows us both terror and loss in a way none of us has yet experienced.

It is of little surprise that this unique perspective if also the 2025 Wisconsin 48 Hour Film Project's Best Film, and will represent the Badger State at Filmapalooza in Lisbon Portugal.
