Where does you rabbit dig? My suggestion for June is a digging box. Almost every rabbit does some form of digging, whether that’s a little scrape at the ground before settling down for a nap or attempting to excavate an entire warren system. Having an outlet for those digging urges is really important for rabbits welfare.

Digging opportunities don’t have to be complicated. Any old container and some suitable digging material will do. In fact you could skip the container and just add a heap of something to dig in … but it does get a bit more messy!
Things like hay, straw, soil and shredded paper all work for digging. I appreciate suggesting snow this time of year is going to raise some eyebrows – but remember that one for winter!
