This week I took some staff photos for a youth behavioral health & wilderness therapy organization here in Madison. Was pretty happy with the way things turned out considering a patio umbrella was my reflector....proving, as always, that visual media production is always, to some degree, about a combination of *) improvising *) covering up flaws *) faking it til you make it *) etc. It's an art form in itself, I swear.

Been a while, friends, so thought an update was in order. The last two years I've been spending abundant time with our two girls and helping settle us into Madison, Wisc.—a much better fit for our sanity and values than was Washington, D.C. But! with the dust starting to settle I've been back in the field and enjoying it like the good ol' days....thank god. I've also been teaching journalism in an alternative middle school and it's been AWESOME (I'm convinced that kids are superior lifeforms). Here are a few visual souvenirs from along the way. Don't hesitate to get in touch whether for documentary services or simply for the sake of friendship. -Brad

Been a while, Facebook! I come back bearing my usual gift of a funny, charming, odd little video I helped to make. Kids on the candidates!

We put the four presidential front runners—Cruz, Trump, Clinton, Sanders—in front of a panel made up of the ultimate judges: six, seven, and eight-year-old children. It wasn’t always pretty, but it sure was funny.
