We will certainly miss him. He was a great brother in the Lord and a tireless evangelizer. His faith and zeal for the Lord remained the top priorities in his life. Like St. Paul, he 'fought the good fight, finished the race, and kept the faith.'

“Fr. Ed is a prophet and an enigma,” says Fr. Michael Scherrey, CC. “A prophet is a person regarded as an inspired teacher. An enigma is a person who is mysterious, puzzling, or difficult to understand. Fr. Ed is at times a prophet, sometimes difficult to understand, but he is definitely proclaiming the Word of God with his heart!”

Eternal rest grant unto your servant O Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace and may his soul and the souls of all the faithful departed through the mercy of God rest in peace.
