Located in Shoal Creek, this Versailles-style mansion is the 44th largest residence in the country—just a touch smaller than the White House. It sits on 27 acres, has a long guitar-shaped driveway, 15 bedrooms, 22 bathrooms, and 12 grand fireplaces.
Still, it’s hard not to look at it as an absolutely obscene and vulgar display of wealth. Who could possibly need a house like this? Imagine the upkeep—just the landscaping reportedly cost $1,000 a month. And cleaning? You’d need a small army.
At $5 million, it’s a steal… but one that still leaves most of us wondering: why?
