Tech Tuesday: Your Office Is Stealing Your Life!

Technology promised us freedom.
Instead, it gave us another reason to sit inside staring at a smaller rectangle under lights designed by people who hate joy. 😂

So today, if the weather is beautiful, take your work outside.

Drive to "nowhere".
Laptop on the patio.
Hotspot at the park.
Earbuds in.
Coffee nearby.

Let the sun do what fluorescent lighting has been lying about for decades. 😎

Over time, I’ve built a small setup for working away from the desk:
Portable power.
Mobile internet.
Travel chargers.
Earbuds.

A few security habits.
Because nothing ruins a nice day like someone borrowing your bank account to buy a jet ski in
Miami.

I’m thinking about building a simple:

Remix Take-It-Outside Tech Kit
Not random gadgets. Just what actually works.

THROWBACK THURSDAY: DUBAI, 2022 🇦🇪✨

TIME WAITS FOR NO ONE.

We all say the same things:

“I’ll travel later.”
“I’ll call them later.”
“I’ll enjoy life later.”

Problem is, later isn’t guaranteed.

Dubai in 2022 reminded me of that.

Burj Khalifa. Fireworks. Desert sunsets. A city built with ambition turned all the way up.

And I’m glad we went when we did.

Because life moves.

Politics change.
Health changes.
Families change.
Money changes.

And yes, your knees eventually join the conspiracy. 😏

When the conflict involving Iran is over, the region is stable, and we feel comfortable returning, we will.

But the lesson is bigger than Dubai.

Stop assuming you have unlimited time.

Take the trip.
Buy the ticket.
Drive the car.
Call the friend.
Make the memory.

You can make more money.

You cannot make more yesterday.

So what are you still putting off?

Because sometimes “later” quietly turns into “never.”

815 horsepower. 202 mph. Technology correcting your mistakes before you make them.

On paper, the GTD wins easily. But the Shelby doesn’t need a calculator to make you fall in love.

Who would’ve thought little old Cottage Grove, Wisconsin, would have this much Mustang history sitting on one lawn?

Smart money says buy neither. Legendary garages were never built with smart money.

🔥 Ever notice your spouse knows exactly when to jump in…

and when to step back before the fireworks hit? 😏

Yesterday i’m picking up one of our cars from a service provider. Joan backed me up, made her point, then let me handle the rest.

That’s marriage after almost 30 years:

Tag in.
Tag out.
Stay close.
Enjoy the damn show. 😂

But here’s the controversial part:

If your spouse stays completely silent while someone is disrespecting you… is that trust, or are they leaving you out there alone?

This day will only appear once. Make epic s**t happen.

Friday night. Joan, cocktails, the city humming around us. We danced because the song asked us to. Her hand found mine before I even reached for it. Laughed at nothing and everything, the kind of laugh that turns into something quieter later.

Don’t wait for someday. Someday is just Friday you didn’t show up for. Make the weekend worth looking back on.
