Just received word that the Carroll County at Russell KHSAA Class 3A playoffs football game has been moved up a day to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 6 due to anticipated inclement weather on Friday. Carroll (5-5) will make the 360-mile round trip to Russell (8-2) on Thursday.

The only other local KHSAA playoff game was already scheduled for Thursday. Trimble County (2-8) plays Newport Central Catholic (6-4) in the Class 1A playoffs at 7 p.m. Thursday at Covington Catholic.
