BOIL WATER NOTICE LIFTED***
Due to a large water line break, water pressure in the areas of Philpott Drive and Oak Grove Road have decreased below minimum standards. When main pressures are low, surface water which could be contaminated with bacteria has the potential to enter the distribution system. Until further notice, water customers in that area are advised to boil water prior to using it for drinking or food preparation. As a precaution, customers should take the following steps:
1. Prior to boiling the water should be strained through a clean cloth to remove any sediment or floating material.
2. The water should then be heated to a vigorous boil, and the rolling boil should be maintained for one minute to ensure disinfection.
