🚨 BESTIE… if I was diagnosed with insulin resistance tomorrow, I would NOT try to fix my entire damn life by Monday. 😂
No sad lettuce.
No living at the gym.
No pretending carbs personally betrayed my family.
I’d make my metabolism’s job EASIER.
Because insulin resistance can be sneaky.
Your blood sugar can look “fine” while insulin is working overtime behind the scenes.
Meanwhile you’re over here like…
Why am I hungry AGAIN? 😩
Why are cravings yelling at me?
Why do I crash after I eat?
And WHO invited this belly fat to move in permanently? 😂
Here’s where I’d start:
🩸 KNOW MY NUMBERS.
I’d ask about A1C, fasting glucose, fasting insulin and my lipid panel.
🧠 QUIET THE FOOD NOISE.
Thoughtful choices are easier when my brain isn’t screaming EAT THE THING!
⏰ GIVE INSULIN SOME QUIET TIME.
I already fast while I sleep.
I’d slowly extend that window and find what works for MY body.
🥗 FIBER FIRST.
Fiber-rich plants = the official speed bump in front of carbs.
Then fat.
Then protein.
Then carbs.
Carbs are still invited, Bestie.
They’re just not leading the damn parade. 😂
🥤 I’d use my 7-source pre-meal fiber matrix to help me hit that fiber goal.
🚶🏽♀️ MOVE AFTER I EAT.
Walk.
Resistance training.
Even seated calf raises.
Your muscles would like employment too. 😂
❤️ KNOW WHAT VOICE IS SPEAKING.
Am I hungry?
Having a day?
Or is food noise just being LOUD?
And I’d give myself 90 days to PAY ATTENTION.
How do I feel?
What are my cravings doing?
What’s happening with my waist, weight and energy?
What do my labs say?
No perfection.
Better choices. Real feedback. Repeat.
That’s how I’d start my metabolic comeback.
