Last year I picked up a Fuji X-T5, affectionately known as my “purse camera” in an attempt to fall back in love with photography. As someone who spends a lot of time on set with bulky equipment, the idea was to capture quality moments without the weight. This little powerhouse has exceeded my expectations, delivering images that have been used in paid work as well as for my personal projects. If lugging gear is holding you back, a compact camera might be the solution you need to reignite your passion for photography.

From our west coast tour last month. This little dining space situated off the lobby of the El Dorado hotel captured my attention. This paint drenched room felt cozy and intimate. The light danced around in the space from the French doors and large widows on opposite sides of the room. Love unique spaces like this.
