These Carolina Shoe Co. boots really check off all the boxes for me. They are light, comfortable, steel toe, and look great. At least they did when new. They call them work boots for a reason. These are the main camera rigs that they used to film Making Fun. Derek decided to take one for a quick spin, but Mike Odair seemed nervous that he’d drop it 😂. With a little practice, I think he could figure it out, but don’t quit your day job Derek Forestier!

Dino Taco Toilet, the final reveal! All that work, just to create an excuse to dump tacos on Derek Forestier. But it ended up being pretty iconic in the end, the dinosaur was our first build together, but also unintentionally became the mascot of the show and the cover photo used when promoting the show.

I had a client reach out and say they had wanted a “industrial” style desk. Fortunately they had seen a friends design, so I had a great place to start. It was to big to build in my shop, and I have a friend with a cool set of tools so I asked if he wanted to do it with me. Lucky for me, he said yes. There wasn’t a ton of welding on this job, but we did manage to use Dave welder to weld up the frame. This was delivered to it was a fun job, and Dave is always fun to hang with. Let me know what you think.

I moved my onto my table and needed a way to hold my cylinder. I remembered that had sent me this holder and thought it might be a good time to add it to my table. It’s secure and now I can move onto my welding project and not worry about it falling over. The wrench is made by great guys and great tools.
