The past two months have been a big adventure traveling to London, Montreal, New York, Denver, Nashville, & Napa. So many great memories!

One of the highlights was being a guest speaker at the SCL Music Creators Conference/Career Symposium at Belmont University in Nashville on September 28 (my birthday ). I spoke on two panels: "Music Supervision & the Composer/Songwriter" and "Songwriting for Sync & Selecting the Right Talent" to an audience of students, graduates, and SCL members --- and I had a surprise birthday serenade in the green room 🎶 (thanks Nocarrier Wirsig et al) 💙

Afterwards, at the beautiful Ocean Way Nashville Studios, The Society of Composers & Lyricists President Ashley Irwin presented the Music City Maestro Award to superstar composer Bear McCreary 🎶

Look who's on the cover of Jazz Guitar Today this month!! Our very own, David Becker!! Bob Bakert of the magazine says "David’s music can be very ethereal almost spiritual inspiring us by creating sonic landscapes of places we of a certain era will never travel to… but, David takes us there anyway."

David has also been referred to as a 'virtuoso' and 'one of the greatest jazz guitarists ever', and the whole team at ArtistMax and Marshmellow Skies. Studio is honored to be working with him. Congrats David!!

Exciting news today at Great Minds Sync Alike! We are thrilled to have music featured in 4 episodes of Entertainment Tonight, the longest running news program on television!

Special thanks to my brilliant collaborator, composer Hao-Yue Kuang, for her work on the song "I'm Still Here" that was written two years ago as an intercontinental collaboration - from Malibu to China 🙂. So much gratitude 💙

Today I'm celebrating having music featured in 13 episodes of MTV's Jersey Shore: Family Vacation!! One of my favorite of the songs is "Supersonic" that I wrote with talented artist/producer Jo MacKenzie :) And I LOVE all the LOVE we're receiving for the song “I Own It” (by Lady Sway), written with superstars Maggie Szabo and Doma Schrank!!
