Tariffs have reached Bluebird. We ordered a $350 part two weeks ago and got hit with a bonus $25 tariff. Last night I had to order another expensive part and we got hit with an $80 tariff. Neither of these are parts we can source in the U.S.. In addition, wait times on these arts seems to be getting longer.

Trying to avoid passing these costs onto our loyal customers is getting increasingly difficult but please know, we will do it as long as possible! We ❤️ our customers!

How we came to be

Started in the driveway of our house in Panama City Beach, FL, doing chalk painting on furniture, windows (with glass etching, etc.), and anything else I could get my hands on, I figured out this was a passion I didn’t know I had.

From there, I moved on to small glass etchings, experimenting with color and shadows. Soon, my husband had purchased two sizes of compressors which turned out not to be big enough for what I wanted to do next. So...SURPRISE! He bought me a blasting cabinet and large compressor and I took off from there. Eventually, I moved on to etching tumblers, computer cases, windows (big) and lots of other things. My customer base began to grow slowly.

A year later, a move to Missouri, and I’ve expanded to t-shirts, painted and etched tumblers, baby clothes, keychains and more. If you can dream it, I can create it! I’ve even expanded into a second business with a partner, creating cemetery photos on ceramics and sublimated tiles.

Who knows where we’ll go next, but it’s always exciting, and my customers are loyal, and continue to grow. Thank you!
