Future Filmmaker Project: Introducing Mia Bornstein

Mamaroneck’s own Mia Bornstein discovered her passion for filmmaking after watching Donnie Darko and realizing that movies can be emotional, surprising, and completely outside the box. That single moment opened up a whole new world of storytelling for her.

With encouragement from her video teacher at Scarsdale High School, Mia began diving deeper into film, taking classes and learning how to bring big ideas to life. She hopes to study film in college and one day create stories that inspire others, proving that one movie really can change everything.
