The local government coffers are voracious, and I’d rather they feed upon data centers than me. YLDCA advocates for additional data center development because it is the most densely taxable form of development by an order of magnitude.

Opponents of data centers who claim their development “doesn’t contribute in any way” to Prince William County’s economy are taking a difficult position to defend. Love them or hate them, data centers provide tax revenues at a scale unmatched by any other form of development.
