Exciting News!!!

I am thrilled to announce that our pals at Green Mountain Media Group, a Vermont-based company owned and operated by Jen Kane Paterson and John Paterson, have purchased Stratton Magazine, Manchester Life Magazine, THE GUIDE, and VERMONT Magazine!

Don’t fret! I’m happily continuing as Editor-in-Chief of both THE GUIDE and Manchester Life Magazine. To top it all off, my trusted colleagues are joining me on this new adventure. Same great team - plus the bonus energy of Jen and John!

You’ll be learning more about John and Jen in the coming weeks, but rest assured, our team is very excited about what comes next!

Old Mill Road will continue as publisher of Berkshire Magazine and will remain actively involved in Vermont’s musical and cultural community via its state-of-the-art recording studio, Old Mill Road Recording.

Hi, Friends! For all who celebrate on this 6th night, Happy Hanukkah!

Vermont Symphony Orchestra invites audiences across the state to celebrate the holiday season with its beloved annual Brass Quintet and Counterpoint Chorus holiday concert tour, visiting Manchester this Sunday, December 14 at 4pm at the First Congregational Church!

This year’s performances include timeless carols such as “Silent Night”, “Deck the Halls”, and “The First Noel”. Burr & Burton Academy’s student singers take part in the concert! Free for ages 18 and under; $24 for ages 65+; $28 for ages 19-64 (plus tax/fees).

Join us on SATURDAY in Manchester, VT, for the 15th Annual Holiday Lighted Tractor Parade!

December 6th, 5:30pm – 6:30pm

This beloved event parades through downtown Manchester Center. Tractors and floats adorned with lights and festive décor will cruise through, spreading holiday cheer. Rumor has it, Mrs. Claus and Santa will be there too! Plus, there is a new route for 2025!
