Sadly, it has come to our attention that Elaine Eaton McCoy, the creator, owner, and operator of the 51-year-old The STOCK Exchange in Manchester, has died. Elaine’s vision for a vibrant downtown shop that brought people together was unmatched and its legacy continues today. A private memorial will be held at a later date.

July 2, 2026: New Trash Collection Update:
On June 30, 2026, the Town of Manchester-by-the-Sea ended its five-year contract with Republic for waste management services. After reviewing proposals from vendors, including Republic, the Town agreed to move forward with a new 5-year contract with Casella. However, the transition will create temporary service interruptions that will impact residents.

🔵 No Curbside Trash/Recycling Collection on July 6 & 7.
🔵 Expanded Hours Week of July 6 at the Transfer Station
🔵 Black Earth Curbside Compost Collection NOT Impacted.
