Zoo Cat Musya becomes World Famous ‘Mother of Hedgehogs’

Musya, or Muska the cat, became a sensation at the Sadgorod Zoo in southeastern Russia. On the zoo’s Instagram page, she is seen nursing a littler of hoglets, the name for baby hedgehogs. Due to her strong maternal instinct, she cared for them as her own. Amazingly, Musya didn’t mind that these “kittens” were covered in little spiky quills.

One day, someone brought the zoo a litter of eight tiny hoglets. Unfortunately, their mother had likely been killed in a lawnmower accident, but the babies survived. However, they were tiny and still blind, requiring their mother’s milk.

Now, the zookeepers had to find a way to take care of the babies, but they were so small. Unfortunately, the hedgehogs refused milk from a bottle, saucer, or syringe.

Hocus Pocus 2 is a 2022 American fantasy comedy film directed by Anne Fletcher, written by Jen D'Angelo and produced by Walt Disney Pictures. It is a sequel to the 1993 film Hocus Pocus and the second installment in the Hocus Pocus franchise. The film stars Bette Midler, Sarah Jessica Parker, Kathy Najimy, and Doug Jones[3] reprising their roles, with Sam Richardson, Whitney Peak, Belissa Escobedo, Tony Hale, and Hannah Waddingham joining the cast in new roles.

Filming took place from October 2021 to January 2022 in Rhode Island, replacing Salem, Massachusetts. It was released on Disney+ on September 30, 2022.[4] The film received mixed reviews, with praise for the cast performances, humor, and nostalgia, but criticism of the plot. It earned three nominations at the 75th Primetime Emmy Awards, including Outstanding Television Movie. A third film is in development, with Anne Fletcher and Jen D'Angelo returning as director and screenwriter, respectively.

In 1653 Salem, Massachusetts, Reverend Traske banishes 16-year-old Winifred Sanderson after she 'defied church authority' by refusing to marry John Pritchett. Rather than be away from her sisters, Mary and Sarah, Winnie takes them to a nearby forest. There, they meet with Mother Witch, who gives Winifred a magic, human-skin-bound book, with a living eyeball embedded in the cover, for her birthday; she also explicitly warns the trio against ever casting the Magicae Maxima spell, which makes the user 'all-powerful'. Mother Witch also teaches the trio how to keep their youth, using children. The sisters get revenge on the Reverend by cursing his home, which is engulfed in flames☁️🖤🌚

The Transporter (French: Le Transporteur) is a 2002 French-English action thriller film directed by Cory Yuen from a screenplay by Luc Besson and Robert Mark Kamen. In the film, Frank, a British mercenary driver living in France, becomes involved in a human trafficking ring.

The Transporter was inspired by the short film series The Hire. The Transporter premiered at the Regency Village Theatre in Los Angeles on October 2, 2002, and was theatrically released in the United States on October 11 by 20th Century Fox, and in France on October 23 by EuropaCorp. It received mixed reviews, with praise for its action sequences but criticism for its plot. It grossed .9 million worldwide and was followed by the sequel, Transporter 2 (2005).

Supplementary food supply at the Tiacuto/Puiacuto dump (Sierra de Guara, Huesca/Uesca (Aragón)) carried out by the Grupo Ornitológico Oscense (GOO) 29/8/2021. After the supply, we retreated to the observatory away from the dump and two black vultures, three Egyptian vultures and three bearded vultures appeared.

Drowning Elephant's heart wrenching cries begged for human help in a dramatic rescue

This is the story of a poor elephant who became trapped in a concrete well while searching for food. The elephant, along with his herd, must have arrived in the village the previous night in search of food. Unfortunately, during their return journey, he fell into the well in the darkness. In the morning, when the landowner came to the well, he was surprised to find an elephant struggling inside.
The news about the elephant quickly spread throughout the village, and the villagers gathered around to offer assistance. However, they soon realized that, with their limited resources, they were unable to help the elephant alone.

They promptly contacted the nearest wildlife department center for assistance. The officers arrived at the location as soon as they received the news. After assessing the site and the condition of the elephant, they found that the animal was struggling to escape but couldn't gain a firm grip on the slippery concrete walls. To resolve the situation, they decided to break down part of the well wall and build a ramp to help the elephant climb out. To accomplish this, they hired a JCB machine and began breaking through the concrete wall.

The villagers gathered around and waited anxiously until the poor elephant was freed. Before the arrival of the officers, the concerned villagers offered some food to the starving elephants. You could see the banana stems floating in the water. Although the people living in areas bordering the forests often encounter trouble from elephants, such as crop raiding and property destruction, they still have respect for these majestic giants and do not hesitate to offer help when the elephants are in trouble.
The JCB operator continues his work cautiously. After breaking down the well wall, he is now building a ramp by loosening the soil to help the elephant ascend.

The elephant looks exhausted after its continuous struggle. It must have been starving for many hours since last night.
It's sad that this poor elephant has to face such an unfortunate incident while struggling to satisfy its hunger, as food and water are scarce in its natural habitat.

With the increase in population, humans have encroached into forested areas. This has deprived elephants of their natural habitats and decreased the availability of food for them in the forests. As a result, hungry wild elephants are forced to visit human-inhabited areas in search of food. Elephant herds often venture into villages bordering forests, invading the carefully cultivated crop fields of farmers to satiate their hunger. Unfortunately, these journeys sometimes end in tragic accidents for the elephants, like this one.

The task is now coming to an end. The JCB operator has successfully constructed the ramp at a suitable angle to allow the elephant to exit.
The intelligent elephant slowly began to ascend the pathway created for him. Finally, he successfully climbed up the ramp and made his way out of the pit.

It was a joyous moment for everyone gathered around. They felt happy , knowing they had been part of saving a precious life.
After being freed, the elephant didn't move to the forest immediately. Instead, he turned towards the rescuers and gazed at them for several minutes, displaying a gesture of gratitude.

That is how this intelligent elephant expressed his thankfulness to the people who helped free him from his prolonged suffering.
After that, the elephant peacefully moved towards the forest, his native land.

Milani Gives Birth to 5 Cheetah Cubs

Here's a beautiful video of Milani, a three year old first-time mother, giving birth to her five cheetah cubs on September 19, 2014.

Cheetahs, like most animals and even humans labor best in a safe and secure envirnoment. This small space is actually an ideal location for Milani to give birth. There is one entrance for her to watch for danger and while she is most vulnerable she's able to feel safe while giving birth.

Another note; this small den is actually inside of a much larger covered space that she has full access to.
