🎭Epping Community Theater - Alive and Strong!

ECT is so thankful for the Epping community as well as the surrounding communities who have continued to come out and support us in our ventures! Be it performing or volunteering in our productions, taking classes, or just coming out to enjoy an evening of theater, it is you that makes us a valuable resource in our community and throughout the greater seacoast area!

These last two years have been trying for everyone, our organization included! Due to the difficulty of navigating productions with anywhere from 15 to over 50 volunteers (from actors to production and house management crew) and trying to follow the best safety protocol we could, several productions had to be postponed and/or canceled. However, due to the amazing resiliency and patience of our whole community, we are still pushing through and creating more memorable theatrical events!

Here’s what’s coming up:
🍀St Patrick’s Day Celebration
ECT is proud, once again, to bring back our annual St Patrick’s Day Celebration with The Foggy Dew Band at the Epping Playhouse! Sunday, March 13th at 2pm, promises to be fun for the whole family, featuring traditional Irish folk music with lead singer Kevin Murphy and his band. This 2-hour performance will have you dancing, singing, and laughing as we celebrate Irish heritage through song. Tickets are $10 at the door (no advanced ticket purchase), please note that tickets and concessions will be cash only.

🎭Spring Theater Classes (Registration ends March 10th)
Theater Classes are being offered for grades 1-2 and grades 3-5 at Watson Academy. Space is limited so don’t delay! For more information, you can go to https://eppingrecreation.org/youthprograms/ or contact the Epping Rec Dept.

ECT Supports EMHS’s Production - Beauty and the Beast Jr
ECT is excited to support The Epping Middle High School’s musical production of Beauty and the Beast Jr! They will perform their production at the Epping Playhouse April 1-3. Tickets are $10 at the door (no advanced ticket purchase), please note that tickets and concessions will be cash only.
Junior Summer Theater Production - High School (non) Musical
Our Junior production this summer will be High School (non) Musical for students grades 5-8th. The cost is $150 and students are guaranteed a role in the production. Auditions will be May 31st with shows Aug 8th - 9th. Rehearsal times will be flexible to manage summer vacation plans (you may contact the Epping Rec Dept for any concerns).
ECT’s Fall Production - Shrek the Musical

ECT can not wait to get back to producing an all ages show and Shrek the Musical is guaranteed to not disappoint! We are still working on finalizing the audition and production dates, however, you can expect auditions to run sometime in July with a two week production run in mid to late October.

Epping Playground Fundraiser

Hello Town of Epping residents, friends and family!!!
Please join us for a fun week-long Pampered Chef fundraising event! The party page is up and running! The official party started on Monday and runs through next Saturday. The shopping link will remain open for several weeks.
Epping Parks & Recreation has been working on plans, attending board meetings and raising funds to develop a playground that can be utilized by members of the community when school is in session (making those playgrounds off limits during the day). The playground will be located behind the SAU14 building at 213 Main Street near the tennis court and soccer fields. Funds raised from this event will go towards the purchase of equipment and a barrier fence.
Please help us raise our playground!!!!

Pampered Chef will contribute a percent of the total fundraiser sales to our Playground Fundraiser.
If Fundraiser Sales total $200–$599.99 - 10% will be donated,
If Fundraiser sales total $600+ - 15%will be donated.
We’ll contribute an additional $3 to the cause for every party booked from your host’s fundraiser.
*Total sales before tax, shipping, and handling, and after any discounts.
