Beer style spotlight. ๐ป๐ป๐ฆ๐ก
Labor day weekend is upon us & what better way to kick it off than checking out a couple dank looking DIPA's from two breweries that consistently pump out some of the best available in my region of the U.S. We have what a lot of people consider to be the best brewery in New Hampshire for IPA's & a heavy hitter collaboration with breweries out of New York & Oregon. The ABV% can fluctuate by state, but the alcohol content of a DIPA is usually around 7-7.5%ABV. The good ones can mask the booze & disguise themselves as standard IPA's which can become dangerous quickly. This was a tight round since these two were both delicious so let's get into it. ๐ป๐ปโ๐ฅ
SPUD JUICE DIPA from Spyglass Brewing 7/10*
JUICE = JUICE (BATCH 4) DIPA from Equilibrium Brewery in collaboration with Great Notion Brewing 7.5/10* ๐
With a couple bangers in my hands here it wasn't a easy choice here. That SPUD JUICE DIPA was excellent being so juicy, hoppy & hazy with subtle melon & piney flavor throughout. Spyglass Brewing usually murders the New England hazy IPA's & this was no different. JUICE = JUICE (BATCH 4) DIPA was the winner here with Citra, Idaho 7, Galaxy & some dank tropical citrus. It had a freshly squeezed OJ finish with some island fruit & big peach notes. Couple good beers here that were both BEERGASM worthy for sure, Cheers! ๐ป๐ปโ๐ฅ๐โโฅ๏ธ๐บ
