CoΓΆs Brewing Company in Colebrook, NH for a couple pints & a flight of that northern New Hampshire goodness. I was about as far north as you go in New Hampshire & could smell the poutine from across the border in (blame) Canada. Coos Brewing Company sits a minute or two from the Vermont border as well with my GPS taking me through a really cool covered bridge, but also roads I felt that if I broke down on I would disappear without a trace. This is one brewery I'm definitely happy to have checked off my bucket list though. I've been drinking them for five years or more now whenever I see something new available at my local beer store. The menu here was varied in styles including a couple wheat beers, a DIPA, NEIPA's, pale ale, saison & a lager. I covered as much ground as I could so let's get to it. 🍻🍻☘☘πŸ”₯πŸ”₯

I started off with a pint of the GOOD BEER Lager, a crisp & clean good beer for sure. I then grabbed a flight of four starting with a 4oz of the SAISONADE Farmhouse Ale which was delicious & had the perfect amount of tartness & lemon flavor. My second taster was the RASPBERRY PUCKERBRUSH Sour, again another winner & very drinkable for summer. The third 4oz pour FIFTH LAKE Pale Ale was good & dank with grapefruit on the finish. The last taster was the WOODLAND WIT Wheat Beer, a good above average wit that would be great in a pint with a orange. For my last beer I scooped a pint of the IN THE PATH OF TOTALITY IPA, which was everything you could ask for from a American IPA. 🍻🍻πŸ”₯β˜€οΈβ˜˜

The space is fairly large with the brewery being connected to the big taproom with plenty of tables, some couches & bar seating. There is a kitchen here, but I was saving my appetite for later in the day. Plenty of beer to go here for home or tastings with friends. The service was excellent & our bartender knew her stuff beer wise which is always refreshing. They have a flight board that can carry six beers, with two of those you can cover the tap list of twelve here. Definitely worth the three hour trip from southern NH, check it out, cheers! 🍻🍻πŸ”₯✌β™₯️🍺

Brewery quickie. πŸ»πŸ»πŸ†πŸ’¦

I returned for a few pours at Candia Road Brewing Company in Manchester, NH since I saw they had some new beers I hadn't tried yet. Always a favorite of mine & one of the best breweries in New Hampshire in my opinion. These guys put out some delicious IPA's, lagers & pilsners with this visits fare being as delicious as expected. It was the first day in another long ass heat wave so I went with mostly lighter stuff this time around. 🍻🍻πŸ”₯☘

BEER OF THE WEEK goes to this dank beast DARK CLOUDS MUST PASS Triple IPA from Wandering Soul Beer that was excellently smooth for a 9.5%ABV banger. This beer is dangerous for sure & Wandering Soul Beer is a brewery I'm well overdue to check out. 🍻🍻πŸ”₯πŸ”₯☘☘✌β™₯️🍺

Copper Pig Brewery in Lancaster, NH for a couple pints, a taster & a killer breakfast on a Sunday. The first of three spots on my trip up to northern New Hampshire to check off the furthest breweries from me I hadn't been to. The trip up north definitely opened my eyes to just how desolate & far it is between some towns, I'm definitely to much of a city boy to make it up here happily. I have never had anything from Copper Pig Brewery before so I was going in completely blind expectation wise. The styles here were pretty broad with a couple lagers, a porter & stout, pale ale, DIPA, red ale, seltzer, cider & wheat ale. The further north you get in NH I've noticed the decline of IPA's on the menu places, especially NEIPA's with more traditional offerings taking up a lot of space on the tap lists now. I tried to get a few styles to get a taste of as much as possible so let's get to it. 🍻🍻πŸ”₯☘

I started with a pint of the KILKENNY IRISH RED, it was a good above average crisp red ale with some excellent malt & cereal flavor on the finish. I then grabbed a 5oz taster of the LITTLE PIGGY PORTER, a delicious, smooth & creamy dark beer that would have been worth a pint of. For my last beer I scooped a pint of the LARS007 DIPA, it was good, but I would stick to the more traditional offerings here it seems to be where the passion lies. 🍻πŸ”₯☘☘πŸ’ͺπŸ†

Let's talk about that breakfast I got, it was phenomenal & very well priced for under $15. I got scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage patties, white toast & three massive pancakes which I destroyed with butter & syrup. Along with the beers I consumed I needed a wheelchair to roll me out of the place. I went on a Sunday morning & they were only open until noon doing breakfast. All the seating options here including tables, hightops, a small bar & a seasonal patio section. I didn't see any options for beer to go, but they might do growlers. Fun spot, good beers & a damn great breakfast. 🍻πŸ”₯☘🍳πŸ₯πŸ₯£βœŒβ™₯️🍺

DIVERSITY. It is as important in beer as it is in life. That being said I'm here to celebrate a couple great & delicious styles, but without a doubt highly different. We celebrate ALL on this page so let me highlight a couple beers that push back against the normal styles & say "Hey, f**k you, we were born (brewed) this way." 🍻🍻🍻πŸ’ͺβ™₯️🌈

"Excuse me sir, your balls are showing."

Rock n Roll Meatballs in Manchester, NH for a few beers, a meatball flight & a double smash burger. I had been looking forward to checking this place out since it opened at the beginning of 2025, but a post I saw a few weeks ago about the smash burgers made it a priority. The beer selection here wasn't anything crazy, a handful of the usual suspects like Bud Light, Coors Light, Blue Moon, Sam Summer, KONA Big Wave, Downeast Original Cider, a UFO Pale Ale & Fiddlehead IPA. I went with x3 Fiddlehead IPA's during this visit since it's one of my favorite beers to get on draft & it didn't disappoint here. 🍻🍺🍺🍺πŸ”₯☘

I started off with the namesake of the establishment in the meatball flight. It came with six different ball options (all names on the flight card in the pic below) & was a reasonable $14. My favorite two balls would have to be the Pilgrim Balls & the Beef Brisket, I thought all the options were delicious though. The gimmick of the meatball flight is really fun & well worth trying for sure. 🍝🍻πŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ’ͺ

For my main course I grabbed the double smash Fried Onion Burger, it was a true smash burger & really good. There is a lot of places saying they have smash burgers, but it's not the real thing. This burger was excellent & simple with sweet onions & American cheese on a potato bun. There is also a option for the Classic Smash Burger, but I'm happy with the one I got. There was options for sides, but with the meatball flight I figured I'd save the calories. πŸ”πŸ”πŸ»πŸ”₯☘

The atmosphere in here is awesome with a lot to look at, I made sure to grab a bunch of photos to show as much as possible. Plenty of bar seating, hightops & tables. The vibe is definitely 80's rock n' roll+ with music being the main theme & gimmick here. I had a fun time checking out all the pictures & art that sits on the walls. The owners have a great passion for music which shows & there is a stage inside for live performances that I suggest you check out the schedule for. πŸ»πŸŽΆπŸŽΈπŸ’ΏπŸŽ·πŸŽΉ

Let's talk about the robot while we're here, Skynet is 100% real after seeing this thing in action. It would pull up to the kitchen & the cooks would drop the food on it, then bring said food up to the table. The server would then retrieve the food from the robot & give it to the customer. It pretty much works as a food runner, getting the meal to the table with the only actual human labor being taking the food from the robot & putting it in front of the customer. It's a fun gimmick that makes for a different experience & it even drops off to go orders to the host at the entrance of the restaurant which was cool to see. 🍻πŸ”₯β˜˜πŸ€–πŸ€–

Great spot & great time overall with excellent bar service from the bartender Christina. Hoping they can diversify their beer list sooner than later because this is a spot I need a excuse to return to. Cheers! 🍻🍻πŸ”₯☘πŸ’ͺπŸπŸ”
