Manchester Little League held the 62nd Annual Festival Day on Saturday. There were Championship games, Home Run Derbies and Awards presentations. All attendees were given a free lunch of burgers, dogs, watermelon and drinks generously donated by Manchester Memorial Funeral Home and KC Marketplace.
On hand were the volunteers of Manchester Vol. Fire Co. #1 Sta 32, Ridgeway Vol. Fire Co. #1 Sta. 34, and Whiting Fire Company Sta. 33, a petting zoo and the Face Painting Clowns.
A big shout-out goes to all of the volunteers who devote endless time and energy to the League, and the young athletes; including Pat Jacobs of Weichert Realty,-Toms River, Manchester Councilwoman Sandy Gravatt- Drake, Bonnie Drake and the kitchen staff who go out of their way to prepare and serve delicious hot and cold food and drinks throughout the season.
And of course..all of the Coaches, players and parents. You are all The Best of Manchester! Thanks for everything you do.
